Dr Ouzounian provides expert psychiatric assessments and reports for  legal proceedings, with experience across a broad range in forensic, neurodevelopmental and general adult psychiatry.

Fitness to plead / fitness to stand trial 
Assessments relating to insanity and intent 
Sentencing reports and risk assessments 
Neurodevelopmental disorders in forensic populations (ADHD, autism, intellectual disability) 
Complex mental illness and dual diagnosis 
Violence risk assessment including HCR-20 V3 
 

Dr Ouzounian has worked across all levels of secure care including low, medium, and high secure settings and holds extensive experience in both inpatient and community forensic services. This breadth of practice enables him to provide balanced, evidence-based, and clearly reasoned opinions to the court.

Dr Ouzounian provides high-quality written reports with clear conclusions, prompt communication, and availability for conferences with legal representatives when required. He has given oral evidence in many Crown Courts including the Central Criminal Courts.
